On this Republic Day, CCDT reaffirmed its belief that we all play an important role by supplementing initiatives that benefit society and strengthen our communities. On this occasion, CCDT, along with key stakeholders, took the initiative to conduct an awareness and pleadge to eliminate and promote Child Marriage Free Mumbai, Maharashtra followed by the national flag hoisting ceremony at the Collector’s Office.
In the presence of esteemed dignitaries and Members of Parliament, a collective pledge was taken to end child marriage.

Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Minister in the Government of Maharashtra and MLA, along with DWCD Officer Ms. Shobha Shelar and Mr. Deepak Tripathi, Child Protection Lead, CCDT, led the Republic Day programme focused on eliminating child marriage.
