Director Mudassar Aziz Calls Ayushmann Khurrana the Nation’s Favourite ‘Good Man in a Situation
Ahead of the trailer release of Pati Patni Aur Woh Do, director Mudassar Aziz known for his sharp wit and massy comic sensibilities returns with yet another full-blown entertainer. Having carved a niche with his writing and direction that resonates strongly with audiences, Mudassar now brings together a vibrant multi-starrer led by Ayushmann Khurrana, Wamiqa Gabbi, Sara Ali Khan, and Rakul Preet Singh. Known for handling ensemble casts with finesse, Mudassar also opened up about the dynamics on set. “Holding multiple character arcs in situational comedy requires effort in first devising a gripping screenplay. To not get carried away by gags, but to rather make an effort to put them in situations, allows them to retain their arcs. As for comedy timing, I’m blessed I worked with 6-7 fantastic actors on this one and that is their credit as much as mine,” he said.
